Secure Digital or SD cards as they’re called are used in a variety of digital devices for memory storage. Their primary use is as memory cards for digital cameras. With the current size capability of up to 16 GB, SD cards are perfect as a Storage Media for the new large 10 and 12 Megapixel formats. The need to recover deleted photos from SD card components has grown hugely due to their popularity in high end digital cameras.
These digital cameras initially save files in what is known as a RAW format. Very often during transfer from one’s digital camera memory card, that is SD card, onto a desktop or laptop computer hard disk drive files are corrupted and damaged. When this type of problem occurs it is necessary to purchase a program designed to undelete pictures from SD card media. It is important to note that any program for digital photograph recovery including recovery of image files from SD cards must support recovery of the camera manufacturer’s Raw format.
