Outlook is the most popular email client over the globe that is contributed by Microsoft Corporation for the email users. In addition to emails, Outlook also facilitates users to handle their e-mail contacts, calendar events, meeting schedules, appointments, tasks and many more. Entire Outlook information linked to all of the attributes is going to be kept in an individual database file called PST. Outlook uses .pst file like a local storage folder and stores every one of the emails and also other attributes data.

Sometimes information kept in Outlook profile gets delete or inaccessible due to various reasons. Since most of the users regularly use Outlook for effective communication and information sharing, there will be large amount data held in their Outlook profile. Losing of such info is unbearable. Suppose if you have lost some important emails or other data saved in your Outlook profile, no requirement to worry since you can perform Outlook profile recovery and acquire back your lost or deleted data with ease.

PST file corruption is the primary reason for losing Outlook data. Since PST will be the main database file which holds all of the user data like emails, contacts, etc. corruption of which freezes the access of Outlook and finally brings about huge amount of critical data loss. Virus infection, oversized .pst file, improper termination of Outlook, file system corruption and Outlook migration are among the factors behind PST file corruption. To be able to fix the corrupt PST file and retrieve the stored information, you’ll be able to perform Outlook PST recovery using Outlook recovery software.

In addition to PST file corruption, accidental deletion is yet another cause of Outlook loss of data. Sometimes users unknowingly delete some important emails or contacts and later on they are going to realize their mistake. Luckily deleted emails are going to be held in Deleted Items Folder, from where user can restore their deleted information. In case when the contents of deleted items folder are cleared after deleting a significant mail, then user will lose his deleted emails.

As it is a known fact that PST file is at risk of corruption, Microsoft offers a default inbox repair tool to solve the damaged PST file together with Outlook installation package. Unfortunately, scanpst.exe only repairs the damaged .pst file however, not recovers the stored information and sometimes in case if the PST file is severely corrupted, then it does not fix such files and there are chances that it might further corrupts PST file. To be very best in repairing PST file and recovering data, it is good to opt from some third party PST repair tools.

One such trusted and read only PST repair and Outlook recovery software program is Remo Repair Outlook (PST). This application treats your damaged PST file as read only at repair. It scans the corrupt .pst file, extracts all of the stored information and creates a fresh healthy file with extracted data, which ensures that your original .pst file remains intact while repairing. New .pst file is going to be created in Outlook 2003-2010 format that you can easily bring in for a Outlook profile without modifications. Using this tool you can recover deleted or lost emails, contacts along with other data from PST file. If you’re looking for advanced Outlook repair and recovery software, start to download Remo Repair Outlook (PST).

Files may get deleted in two different ways i.e. one is by using Shift+Del keys and another by using Windows explorer. In Windows Operating system, when the files are deleted using Windows explorer, they are generally moved to Windows Recycle Bin. Later, if you want those files back then you can restore them from Recycle Bin. Recycle Bin stores files and folders, which are marked for deletion. But, when the files are deleted using Shift+Del keys, they are not moved to Recycle Bin instead they bypasses the recycle Bin. If you have accidentally deleted the files using Shift+Del keys then you cannot restore them from Recycle Bin resulting in loss of files. If you want to recover deleted files, then you need to use relevant file recovery tool.

Generally, when you delete a file, the Operating system does not really erase the file from hard drive. Operating system just marks the file name in file allocation table with a special character, which tells the processor that the file has been deleted. Actually, Operating system replaces the first letter of deleted file with hex byte code i.e. E5h that specifies that the file has been deleted. Sometimes, you may accidentally empty the Recycle Bin resulting in loss of files. In general, hard drive stores files in non-contiguous manner. For instance, if you are storing large file then that file is not stored in contiguous locations instead it stores that file in free available locations even though they are widely separated on the hard disk. When the file is fragmented in this way, hard drive takes more time to access each individual part of file for use. Therefore, you need to defragment the disk in order to improve the performance. While defragmenting, if sudden power failure occurs or if you accidentally turn off your computer then files may get lost.

Always, take backup before defragmenting your hard disk to avoid loss of files. In general, when the files are deleted, file system marks that space as available for storing new files. Therefore, when you save or copy any new files over an affected hard drive may overwrite the old files resulting in permanent loss of files beyond the recovery. Make use of UPS to avoid power failure problems. While deleting make sure that the file you are deleting is not important to you. If you have not taken backup then use relevant recovery tool to recover accidentally deleted files from hard drive.

Remo Recover (Windows) Basic Edition recovers files that are accidentally deleted or lost from hard drive. This software supports different types of hard drives like SATA, SCSI and IDE manufactured by different manufacturers like Seagate, Western Digital, Samsung, Hitachi etc. This software also recovers files that are emptied from Recycle Bin. This software has an ability to recognise and reciver different types of files based on their unique signature. This software supports recovery of files from different types of file systems like FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, NTFS5 and ExFAT. You can download free demo version, where you can view list of recovered files. Later, recovered files can be stored on any accessible drives of Windows.

Memory cards are most commonly used by digital cameras to store large number of photos. Since they are able to store your precious photographs, you need to use branded memory card. Now, the memory cards have larger storage capacities ranging from 128MB to 256GB. You can transfer your photos from memory card to computer using card readers. Card readers are available for all different memory cards like CF (Compact Flash) card, Smart Media card, XD (Extreme Digital) card, which are manufactured by different manufacturers such as Kingston, Lexar, Transcend, Sony, Adata, Patriot etc. Whereas, most of the digital cameras uses SanDisk branded memory cards to store photos. Now, SanDisk SDHC memory cards are also able to provide high quality movie watching experience on the new cell phones, which are Android based. Generally, all memory cards support FAT32 file system. The files that are stored on memory cards are organized and managed by using file system. Sometimes, instead of deleting single photo, you may accidentally format your memory card resulting in loss of photos. Because, when you format your memory card, all the photos stored on your memory card gets deleted. But, no need to worry, you can use reliable recovery tool like SanDisk memory card recovery tool to recover lost or deleted photos from memory card.

Sometimes, file system corruption may also results in loss of photos. Because, file system itself is responsible to organize and manage photos that are stored in your memory card. If file system gets corrupted then you may encounter memory card errors like “Unrecognized file format”, “Card error”, “Card not initialized” etc. The most common reasons for file system corruptions are malware or virus attack, improper shut down while transferring images to computer etc. When file system gets corrupted, you may not be able to access photos from memory card resulting in photo loss. Sometimes, instead of viewing the photos, you may accidentally delete them resulting in loss of photos.

Some memory cards have a “write-protect” tab, you can slide this tab to avoid accidental deletion of photos. Once you slide this tab, you are not able to record, delete or perform any action over memory cards. When you want to use that memory card, you can simple slide that tab back to its original position for saving photos. Don’t format memory card in computer to avoid memory card corruption. Take backup of important photos regularly so that you can restore photos back if they have been deleted. If you have not taken backup then you can use proficient recovery tool to recover lost or deleted photos from memory card.

Remo Recover (Windows) Media Edition is able to recover deleted or lost photos from different types of memory cards like SD, CF, MMC, XD cards etc. This software also supports different brands of memory cards like SanDisk, Kingston, Sony, Lexar etc. Along with photos, this software is also able to recover and restore deleted or lost audio files, video files and all other types of files. This software provides preview option, where you can preview recovered photos. You can download free demo version to preview recovered photos.

Emails have been the next best thing after snail mail that a person can use to communicate using the internet. Emails have therefore remained in use for a very long time. Many people use emails just as a communication tool for exchanging messages, while others use it as a mode of sharing photos or other documents by way of using attachments. There are various email service providers who offer various types of features and interface to the users. However, all these email service providers necessitate the user to be online to make full use of all the features.

Being online for a very long period of time, might not be something that is possible for everyone. It is for this very reason, that there are various email clients, who let the user download all the emails from the linked mailbox at once, and let them read, edit or delete them offline. Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express are one of the most famous email clients and help the user to do just this. Among the two, Microsoft Outlook has more users mainly due to its advanced features and ease of use compared to the latter. Outlook just requires a one time internet connection to download the emails, and the rest is done offline.

All the emails in Outlook including the ones in Deleted Items and Sent Items folder are saved in a file called the Personal Storage Folder or the PST file. This file not only contains data related to emails, but also other Outlook data like Contacts, Notes, Journals etc. There is a maximum size limit that is fixed for each of these PST files, which depends on the Outlook version that I being used. Increase in size of the PST file beyond this limit usually results in corruption of the PST file. This may lead to loss of emails from Outlook.

However, there are also other ways in which the user could end up losing or deleting all his emails. One of the most common methods in which the user ends up losing all his emails is due to accidental deletion. There are times when an user ants to clean up his Inbox, by deleting all the unnecessary emails. The user might accidentally end up deleting important emails along with the unnecessary ones and may go onto empty the Deleted Items folder. In such cases, the deleted emails might become inaccessible leading to loss of valuable data.

Another scenario in which emails might get deleted is when the user makes use of the Shift + Delete keys to delete the emails. In this case, the emails skip the Deleted Items folder. However, it is possible to recover deleted mails by making use of a good Email Recovery Software. Remo Repair Outlook (PST) is an advanced email recovery tool that can recover emails and all other Outlook data. This PST Repair tool repairs the corrupted PST file and creates a new PST file with all the recovered data.

Outlook is an email client designed to make it easy for the users to read emails offline after downloading them onto their computers. Besides email management, Microsoft Outlook also helps users to perform various other activities like setting meeting reminders, scheduling tasks etc. The fact that emails can be downloaded at once and read offline has made it more popular among people worldwide. Microsoft Outlook comes bundled with Microsoft Office and can be used on PCs that have an internet connection.

Outlook has an in-built PST file on which stores all the data related to the sent, received and deleted emails. This PST file keeps growing in size as the number of emails that are received and sent keeps increasing. Due to this, there are high chances of the PST file getting corrupted. Besides the large size, the PST file may also get corrupted when Outlook is closed in an improper way or due to incomplete compacting operation. Corruption of the PST file header or PST files getting corrupted when they are shared over a network are some other reasons for corruption of the PST file. As the PST file contains majority of the Outlook data, corruption of the PST file will result in making data in Outlook inaccessible. Besides issues with Outlook, there are also issues with PC which may result in the PST file getting corrupted.

Microsoft provides an in-built tool to repair the corrupted PST file called Inbox Repair Tool. Though the Inbox Repair Tool comes in handy when it comes to minor PST file corruption scenarios, the tool proves to be useless in case of severe corruption of the PST file. In case of severe corruption of the PST file, you will require a professional PST recovery tool to repair the corrupted PST file and recover the data that has been lost. A professional PST repair tool is essential, as using an improper software may result in further damage of the PST file.

However, just using any PST repair software will not solve the problem as many Outlook recovery tools promise to repair the PST file and recover all the lost data, but in real do not do as promised and the user ends up losing all the Outlook data. Another issue is that most users do not know the exact location of their PST file and hence it becomes extremely difficult for them to locate the PST file so that the Outlook recovery software can repair it. It is therefore important to provide an interface that helps the user easily locate the PST file that he wants to repair easily.

Remo Repair PST software repairs the damaged PST file and creates a new PST file with all the recovered data which can then be directly imported back into Outlook. The software is capable of repairing PST files that are corrupted severely and recover data within the PST file easily. The software makes it extremely easy for the user to search for the PST file that he wants to repair and also provides a preview of the recovered data.

Information which is been explicitly stored in the storage devices can be deleted with some of the reasons and can the retrieving of the lost information is possible either with the two methods of a single click from “Recycle Bin” or Data recovery software. The software helps in restoration of data only when the information is not overridden by other data present on the storage devices.

The information which is been lost in a simple way of deletion can be retrieved from “Restore” option in the recycle bin but what happens when the information is been deleted from the storage devices either by Shift+Delete or surpassed from the recycle bin there are many more scenarios which is been faced during data loss like:

Restoring files emptied from the recycle bin.

Restoring files getting deleted through bypassing the recycle bin.

Restoring files deleted from DOS command prompt.

Restoring folders and files deleted when you press “Shift+Delete” keys.

Restore files erased when you use the Move or Cut command.

Restore files mistakenly removed by other applications or by viruses.

The undelete tool helps in recover deleted files from hard drive, flash drive, USB external drive, ZIP, digital camera card etc. The information retrieval also includes deleted photo recovery where the sudden disappearance of the images can be restored within a fraction of seconds. The image recovery software helps in restoring photos which is been lost in FAT, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, NTFS5 file systems, recovers photo / picture files from deleted, damaged and formatted drives etc.

With digital cameras having such ease of use and being as popular as they are, people are constantly losing their photos and asking the question of how can I use REMO Recover Photos? Digital cameras are great and they have made developing you photos almost non existent. With computers we are now able to use our digital camera’s freely and then upload the photos onto the computer and instantly you will be able to share and distribute them. Before, you would have had to wait hours and sometimes days to get your photos developed. Even then you wouldn’t have a handy digital copy to use at your disposal.

The only problem with storing digital photos on the computer is that it’s very easily to lose track of them or accidentally delete them. It happens all the time when we places files and photos in a folder and then days later forget they were in there and accidentally delete them. Sometimes I’m just trying to clear up some of my desktop space to make things look organized and I lose focus on what I am deleting and just like that there goes all of my photos. The great thing about REMO Recover Photo is that if you have lost one of the photos that you valued so much you can recover it. REMO Recover Photos is extraordinary software and even if you have placed the photo in the recycle bin and already cleared it out, you can usually still recover what you thought you had lost. REMO Recover Photos works in all different types of deletion situations and even if you think the photo is corrupted or maybe you reformatted your hard drive and you think it’s long gone, your photos can still be restored!

Secure Digital or SD cards as they’re called are used in a variety of digital devices for memory storage. Their primary use is as memory cards for digital cameras. With the current size capability of up to 16 GB, SD cards are perfect as a Storage Media for the new large 10 and 12 Megapixel formats. The need to recover deleted photos from SD card components has grown hugely due to their popularity in high end digital cameras.

These digital cameras initially save files in what is known as a RAW format. Very often during transfer from one’s digital camera memory card, that is SD card, onto a desktop or laptop computer hard disk drive files are corrupted and damaged. When this type of problem occurs it is necessary to purchase a program designed to undelete pictures from SD card media. It is important to note that any program for digital photograph recovery including recovery of image files from SD cards must support recovery of the camera manufacturer’s Raw format.

RAID arrays, that is a redundant array of independent disks can fail for many reasons as with any hard disk system, a simple control or emulator file can easily deny access to all or part of the information stored on a raid array. This is particularly common when using RAID 5 systems. Some of the better data recovery software companies offer programs that will assist you to recover RAID 5 array data. This data can be stored as a disk image and then reinstalled onto the RAID system after it has been rendered operable.

Some RAID 5 recovery software offers a more refined solution in that they will scan and copy RAID information from an array and create on a larger hard disk drive a virtual RAID array. This allows data access until your array can be placed back online. When searching for a program to recover raid 5 array information, bear in mind that this is an extremely specialized process and you will need a data recovery tool targeted exactly to this purpose.

If you use a western digital or Maxtor external hard drive, you want to be extremely careful not to bounce that drive around. External hard drives of this type are not particularly sturdy and are extremely prone to a cyclic redundancy error. For those unaware a cyclic redundancy error or failed CRC error results when one’s internal or external hard drive separates, physical damage resulting and the inability of the rotating platter inside the drive to spin. Simply put the hard drive freezes up. Usually this problem will only occur if an external hard drive is grossly mistreated. The majority of situations requiring one to recover data from external hard drive storage occur under the most common problem accidental file deletion. As with any external drive connected to our PC, data recovery of this kind is extremely simple.

All that is required to recover data from external hard drive storage is to download onto your computer a superior file recovery program. These are third party programs specifically designed to scan through large internal and external hard drives and locate on those drives any information in sectors that have been marked as deleted. The best versions of these programs come equipped with simple graphic user interfaces that allow even the most inexperienced computer operator to check a few boxes and click a couple of buttons leading to recovery of any deleted files on their external hard drive within minutes. These same programs can be used to recover files from crashed hard drive storage when installed to a second, working PC.

At this point when one is using Microsoft Windows 2000 there’s a great likelihood that they are merely in the process of transferring files from an older computer to a newer one. There are two scenarios under which one may find their self searching for a way to recover Outlook 2000 PST file data. The first is when one has accidentally deleted messages and files contained in Outlook. The second is where one has not deleted the Microsoft Outlook database file but simply has no idea how to find it. The basic Microsoft search function will not bring up the special Microsoft Outlook PST file.

A simple solution and a means to recover deleted items from Outlook PST file information is to scan through your entire hard drive using a data recovery tool. The data recovery tool not only will quickly locate an existing non deleted PST file on any version of Windows, it will also find and make ready for recovery Microsoft Outlook files that have been lost due to damage or corruption. This a great tip and a simple way to find and reconstruct Microsoft Outlook data.

A very common mistake made while using Microsoft Outlook Express is to accidentally click on the folder delete as opposed to the message delete when using the program. This results in the loss of anywhere from 1 to 1000 messages. The folder can be located in the applications area of Windows as a folder .dbx file. Unfortunately Windows will not allow one to directly import the contents of the folder back into Microsoft Outlook Express. Should you need to recover a lost folder in Outlook Express there is a viable solution.

Several of the better quality Microsoft Outlook Express repair tools such as that offered by Remo software have built into them import and export functions. The software programs will assist you by searching through your computer’s internal hard drive locating any DBX folders and then allow you to import those folders back into your Microsoft Outlook Express application. These programs are extremely simple to use and in fact are built using a wizard style interface that allows anyone to recover deleted emails from Outlook Express in just minutes regardless of their level of computer expertise.

Deleted documents file recovery presents numerous special problems. While one would think locating and recovering such a simple file as a Microsoft Word document would be one of the easiest file recovery problems. This is not always true. To begin with not all documents are stored in the Microsoft Word .DOC format. There are a dozen quality word processors in use which initially store files in a proprietary format. It should also be pointed out that within the structure of word processing as set forth by Microsoft, there are several dozen file extensions in use such as RTF, DOC and DOCX.

When attempting to solve the problem relative to deleted documents file recovery you will need more than a basic file recovery program. You will need software that was built for and is now aimed at recognizing the general structure attributed to work processing. That same program to recover documents should also be designed as able to recognize all of the currently in use word processing document file extensions such as Abiword’s ABW and the Open Office file extension. And of course emphasis must be placed on recognition of Microsoft Word document files. You may find that you can use a general purpose file recovery program that allows you to do more than find document files. Most of this will find your DOC files as well as recover deleted video files along with audio and image files.

When dealing with computer code it is amazing how the slightest change or loss of data can result in a complete shutdown of an application. Consider that leaving out one simple semi colon will disable huge programs coded in PHP and shut down websites instantly and you will realize why a corrupted PST file blocks you from accessing your emails when using Microsoft Outlook. This type of file corruption when using Microsoft Outlook is extremely common. It can be caused by a simple action such as compressing a Microsoft Outlook email or even allowing an antivirus program to scan an email attachment before downloading. For this reason there are superb programs available for corrupted PST repair. The PST file is a special database type file used by Microsoft Outlook to store and retrieve all of your emails.

A program to repair Outlook inbox corruption is required when the access tables built into the PST file are damaged and as a consequence leave you blocked from all of your messages as well as the other functions of Microsoft Outlook such as scheduling and calendar updates.

Sometimes it isn’t good enough to simply delete a file. Sometimes we need to delete files forever. Most people are unaware that when they delete a file, the underlying data used to create that file is not deleted. In fact as long as that information is not overwritten with new file data such as a new photo or new document, the file itself can be reconstructed quite simply by using powerful data recovery software. Unfortunately that is exactly the opposite of what you may wish to accomplish when you hope to delete files forever.

To permanently erase files you will need to purchase a program known as a file shredder. A file shredder basically does the same thing with digital information that a paper shredder does with paper. It breaks down deep file information into tiny pieces and mixes them all up. Then it does this over and over again so many times that even the most powerful mathematical formula cannot decipher and reconstruct the data. Bear in mind that once you use a file shredder on a drive or partition you will never be able to recover deleted files from external hard drive storage on that drive.

Email recovery is one of the most common problems faced by both home and business computer users. Aside from the fact that every one of us occasionally deletes an email we had intended to keep, very often emails are lost through no fault of our own. In cases where one is using either Microsoft Outlook or the smaller Microsoft Outlook Express it seems there are almost as many ways for emails to become lost as there are to store them. Microsoft Outlook emails can be lost when the Outlook inbox size limitation of 2 GB is exceeded. Upgrading from one version of Microsoft Outlook to a newer one very often results in loss of archived messages.

Even the simple process of running an antivirus program over a download will often result in that message being corrupted. To recover accidentally deleted emails that were sent, received or stored using Microsoft Outlook, you will need a program for what is known as PST repair. Microsoft Outlook uses a special file for personal storage hence the name PST. When any of the above causes results in lost messages, you must use a program to repair the PST file thus restoring access to your emails.

The key to successful digital photo recovery is to make sure you purchase an image recovery program that will recognize all of the commonly used digital photo file types. It is really not sufficient to attempt to recover digital photos using a general purpose file recovery program. The reason for this is very simple. When you download digital photos from your camera or its memory card, the software usually converts your photographs into a popular image format such as a JPEG or JPG. As long as the transfer of information goes correctly, almost any data recovery program can be used to scan through your hard drive and locate these file types.

But when you discover after the download that many of your image files did not transfer or that major portions of those digital photographs are corrupted and hence grayed out, you must return to your digital camera’s storage and scan that media for the original file information. In most cameras this file information is stored using their proprietary format known as a RAW file. In order to recover these files you must purchase a program that specifically addresses the ability to find and recover them.

Once or twice a week someone writes to us and asks how to recover data from a laptop hard drive. For some reason other people are far more intimidated by the process of data recovery on a laptop than a desktop computer. The process required to recover deleted files from laptop hard drive storage is no different than that needed to recover lost files and media data from any type of digital device.

We begin by downloading a quality data recovery software product from Remo software. Remo makes data recovery programs for all of the currently in use operating systems including Windows (all versions), Mac OS X, and Linux. Once downloaded and installed on to your computer’s hard drive, all you need to do is use the helpful wizard style interface that will take you through a few simple selections and ultimately create for you a list of recoverable files. This list can then be sorted to choose specific files and file types or you can opt to simply recover all of the files found.
